Learners using GLH Connect are looking for online and on-site learning opportunities involving interaction with an educator in order to immediately and quickly narrow their learning gaps in relation to their expected level of knowledge and skills at school. After being registered on GLH Connect through a registered organization, learners connect through a web browser on a desktop computer or a low-end smartphone to have access to a searchable directory/calendar of online and on-site lessons on specific subjects or topics offered by volunteer educators. Learners wishing to enroll in a lesson, session, or class register their profile on GLH Connect, which will allow them to then request enrollment in a lesson that matches their needs. Once enrolled, learners will attend their lessons online or offline and rate the quality of the service they received. In addition, the platform also offers and recommends a set of relevant online education resources (videos, pdf, quiz, lessons, etc.) that match the learner’s demand(s), allowing them to learn by themselves, or to complement and consolidate their learning journey
